SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS We use Adobe PDF files for the online display and printing of articles in ESTUARIES and COASTS Online. PDF (Portable Document Format) is a proprietary format designed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and is a platform- independent format designed for the archiving of print-quality versions of articles. The PDF version of an article will print better than the HTML (Web version), although in some cases the graphics may be smaller. In order to view or print PDF files, you need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader which Adobe distributes for free (see icon at lower right of this page). Display of journal contents pages, online searching and display of abstracts uses a combination of CGI scripts, and HTML and PDF files. Access to full text files of published articles are restricted at this time to members of ERF and to institutional subscribers. Manuscripts under review are password-protected and access is limited to the corresponding author, and to the associate editor and reviewers selected for review of the manuscript. A username and password are required, and they may be obtained the Managing Editor's office. Once they are assigned, you can be reminded of them by using the password reminder service.
